In the early 2000s, Fortum Värme made an important strategic decision to eventually phase out its fossil fuel plants and instead focus on renewable energy in the form of biofuels. KVV8 will be Sweden’s largest bio-fired district heating plant with an output of around 400 megawatts.
Exengo is involved in the project in the following areas:
- Design of process ventilation
- Design of building ventilation
- Projecting the signal exchange of fire alarms and telephone functions
- Coordinated testing
- Installation coordination
KVV8 was nominated for Stockholm Building of the Year 2018.
