Sankt Johannes Kyrka

St. John’s Church is a culturally and historically valuable church in a cathedral-like neo-Gothic style with magnificent stained glass windows surrounding the facades. Located at the top of Brunkebergsåsen in the center of Stockholm, the church was inaugurated in 1890 and holds about 600 people. Over the years, the church has undergone a number of renovations. Now it is time for a restoration that will secure the church’s cultural values for the future while modernizing the technical systems. Part of the purpose of this work is to improve the visitor experience through increased comfort thanks to a warmer indoor climate and to improve the possibilities of use by introducing modern technical solutions, such as spoken evacuation alarm and new stage lighting systems.

Exengo has been commissioned to design electrical and telecommunications systems in connection with the restoration.
